Overview
Start a new loan application, get pre-approved, and manage your application to find and lock the best market rates for your mortgage.
Begin Loan Application
To begin, click the Start Preapproval Application button.
You can optionally import an existing 1003 document to pre-fill the form by clicking Import Existing 1003 Document.
A modal will appear.
Upload your 1003 document. You may be asked to save your identity. If so, unlock your password when prompted. If prompted again after saving changes, unlock your password again.
Enter Property & Loan Details
Select your loan purpose: Purchase, Refinance, or Investment.
Select whether you have a property address or not. If you do, enter the address.
Choose the property usage: Primary Residence, Second Home, or Investment.
Select the property type.
Specify where you are in the buying process.
Click Next.
Enter Personal Information
Enter your personal details.
You can click Current Address to enter or edit your current address in more detail.
A modal will appear.
Enter your detailed address information and click Save.
You can also add dependents and their ages, if applicable.
Click Next.
Enter Income Information
Enter your income information, including each income source and its monthly amount.
Click Next.
Enter Asset Information
Enter details about your assets, including the asset type, cash or market value, account identifier, institution name, and account opened date for each asset.
Click Next.
Review and Submit
Review the Contact & Consent section and select the checkboxes to agree to the terms.
Click I Agree to All Terms and Submit Preapproval. This will run a soft credit check.
View Preapproval
Once the application processes, a loan summary screen appears.
This screen displays the loan timeline, property information, and mortgage loan overview.
You can download your pre-approval letter once it's ready.
The letter should be available within about five minutes.
The preapproval letter is a PDF showing your pre-approved maximum purchase price.
Manage Loan Application
Click Find Rate Options to self-discover rates, update loan parameters (purchase price, out-of-pocket expenses), and find and lock rates.
The 1003 document is a Uniform Residential Loan Application used by lenders in the U.S. to collect information from borrowers applying for a mortgage. It can be imported into your loan application process to help pre-fill forms.
To start your preapproval application, click the
